Canine Companions
Freeway International Logistics became a proud supporter of Canine Companions in 2024. Canine Companions provides highly trained service dogs to adults, children, and veterans with disabilities, helping individuals live with greater independence and confidence. In addition to service dogs, Canine Companions also trains facility dogs that support professionals working in healthcare, criminal justice, and educational settings.
Since its founding in 1975, Canine Companions has provided dogs and all follow-up services at no cost to their clients. Freeway International supports this mission through monetary sponsorships, fundraising donations, and hands-on involvement. Our Founder has even served as a Puppy Raiser, playing a direct role in preparing future service dogs for their lifelong work.
Service dogs are not just born. They are raised. And raising a puppy can truly change a life.
Furkids Animal Rescue
Freeway International Logistics is proud to support Furkids, a local organization making a meaningful impact in the Atlanta community. Our Atlanta office is located just down the road from Furkids Headquarters, making this partnership especially close to home.
Furkids is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. They operate the largest cage-free, no-kill shelter in the Southeast for rescued cats, along with Sadie’s Place, a no-kill shelter for rescued dogs.
This year, our team volunteered with Furkids to help prepare for their Paws for Cocktails event, and we look forward to continuing volunteer days in the future.
Perimeter Church Community Sponsorship
Each year, the Freeway International Logistics team comes together to support a local family during the Christmas season through Perimeter Church.
By providing gifts and essential items, we help ease some of the stress the holidays can bring for families facing difficult circumstances. We are grateful for the opportunity to give back locally in a direct and meaningful way.
